Overland Park Voice

Completing the Civic Dialogue.

We empower Overland Park's community workforce by making local government accessible, responsive, and a worthwhile investment of your time.

Bridging the Civic Gap

Many in our community workforce—teachers, healthcare staff, retail workers, and renters—face barriers to civic participation that traditional channels don't address. We make participation accessible and impactful, using the city's own FrameworkOP plan as our guide.

Our Approach

Four principles guide everything we do.

Collaborative

Building bridges, not walls

Accessible

Lowering participation barriers

Data-Driven

Evidence-based advocacy

Results-Oriented

Achievable, impactful goals

Respecting Your Time

We recognize people have different capacities to contribute. Our "ladder of engagement" offers opportunities for every level of commitment.

Active Campaign

Keeping Overland Park Within Reach of its Community

The UDO rewrite happening right now is our opportunity to remove systemic barriers that push out teachers, healthcare workers, and working families. We're advocating for smart reforms that expand housing choices, reduce unnecessary costs, and create vibrant neighborhoods where our community workforce can thrive.
